Terms of Service

Last updated May 2026

These Terms govern your access to and use of MedOasis ("we", "our", "us"), an online medication marketplace operated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By using MedOasis you agree to these Terms and to comply with all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations, including the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) Act and the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) Act.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or a duly registered pharmacy, hospital or licensed distributor, to use MedOasis.

2. Verified Vendors

  • All pharmacies and suppliers must hold a valid PCN premises licence and NAFDAC registration where applicable.
  • Vendors must list only genuine, properly stored, and in-date medicines.
  • Counterfeit, falsified, smuggled, or unregistered products are strictly prohibited and will be reported to NAFDAC.

3. Escrow & Payments

Payments are held in a regulated escrow account and only released to the vendor after the buyer confirms delivery. Disputes are resolved using delivery proof, order metadata, and where necessary, regulatory referral.

4. Prescriptions

Prescription-only medicines (POMs) require a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner. MedOasis verifies prescriptions before dispensing is authorised.

5. Liability

MedOasis is a marketplace facilitator. While we operate strict verification, the vendor remains the seller of record and is responsible for product quality, packaging, and delivery in compliance with NAFDAC standards.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, regulatory obligations, or our community standards.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
