Inside MedOasis vendor onboarding: how a pharmacy becomes verified

Verification isn't a badge — it's a process. Here's exactly what a Nigerian pharmacy goes through to list on MedOasis.

Vendors often ask: what does 'verified' actually mean on MedOasis? It's not a logo we hand out — it's a four-stage gate.

Stage 1 — Premises and pharmacist

We confirm a current PCN premises licence and a named superintendent pharmacist. No premises, no listing.

Stage 2 — Product registration

Sample SKUs are checked against the NAFDAC Greenbook. Vendors selling regulated products without registration cannot proceed.

Stage 3 — Operational readiness

We review cold-chain capability where relevant, dispatch SLAs, and prescription-handling workflow for POMs.

Stage 4 — Escrow and dispute terms

Vendors sign onto MedOasis escrow terms and the dispute process before going live. Continuous monitoring follows: complaints, delivery success rate, and audit-sample testing on high-risk SKUs.
